Bright lights, bells ringing, the sound of quarters dropping into the slot, and hopefully back out again. Northern British Columbia’s newest destination casino is located in Prince George. Treasure Cove, at the intersection of Highway’s 16 and 97, is chock full of fun. Slot machines, Roulette, poker, video poker, the Wheel of Fortune, it’s all there. Dressed up or down, guests can play a few games, relax at the bar and cozy restaurant or take in a show. The 2,200 square foot Las Vegas-style showroom has hosted some of Canada’s most beloved bands – Powder Blues Band, Trooper, and Colin James, to name just a few.
Many Northern B.C. communities have bingo halls, including Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Fort Nelson, Dawson Creek, Prince George, Prince Rupert and Terrace. Portions of revenue generated by all gaming, including casinos, are put back into B.C. communities, helping to fund health, community and not-for-profit work throughout the region.
Casino guests must be at least 19 years old at all British Columbia casinos, and picture identification is required.
