Northern British Columbia is home to a number of unique festivals and events which often tell a complex story of the history of the region or celebrate life as it is today in Northern BC.

Throughout the year, you will be able to partake in a number of diverse festivals and events, which cover the entire map. From the fun of the Bulkley Valley Exhibition, to the historically relevant events at the Huble Homestead, you are in for a treat. There's an awful lot going on up in Northern British Columbia, and we think you'll love it!

Bulkley Valley Exhibition

The Bulkley Valley Exhibition is a non-profit society since 1919. Today, the Fair’s focus is educating the public in regards to agriculture and its importance in today’s society. Attendance that ranges from 20,000 to 25,000 come through our gate to see all types of animals, agricultural products and more.

Riverboat Days

Riverboat Days is a community-wide celebration of the rich First Nations and pioneer history of Terrace and area.

Huble Homestead / Giscome Portage Heritage Society

Expore Huble Homestead an early 1900's historic site and trading post just north of Prince George on the Fraser River. Visit the First Nations fish camp, general store, and enjoy our events.

Prince George Exhibition

For Family Fun with something for everyone? Enter a world that combines yesteryear coupled with trendy events and programs that appeal to modern day visitors.

Prince George Folkfest

Visitors and locals alike take in the festivities and music of the Prince George Folkfest year after year with amazing artists from around Canada and the world. This open air festival takes place at historic Fort George Park on the banks of the Fraser River.

Skidegate Days

This annual festival which takes place the third weekend in July is fun for the whole family. Enjoy canoe races, slow pitch tournament, salmon BBQ and a Grand Finale Dance, as well as races and games for adults and children.

The Edge of the World Music Festival

The Edge of the World Music Festival is an annual festival held on the Queen Charlotte Islands, Haida Gwaii.
