Chetwynd

Unique and interesting are the numerous chainsaw sculptures adorning the streets of Chetwynd. This picturesque community is set in the Rocky Mountain foothills and it's residents are primarily ranchers and loggers. Motels, B & Bs and Campsites are offered as well as great restaurants and shopping.

A serious network of trails offers walking, hiking and skiing fun and the fishing is first class.

Chetwynd is known as the "Gateway to the Peace Country". Chetwynd was originally called Little Prairie by the fur traders. Today, the communities 2866 townsfolk welcome visitors to a great variety of accommodations, restaurants, festivals, and outdoor recreation.
