Dease Lake

Located 65km (40miles) north of Iskut on Highway 37 Dease Lake is a fine place to stop while driving Hwy 37.

The town of Dease Lake was a Hudson's Bay Company trading fort from 1838 to 1841. Once on a major transportation route for trappers and prospectors, Dease Lake is now a centre for adventurers and offers a range of guide and outfitting services.

Novice paddlers enjoy the week-long trip up Dease River which begins at Dease Lake.
