Sandspit

Located on Moresby Island, Sandspit offers hotel, B & B accommodation and camping. Birding, kayaking, clamming and fishing are favourite activities, or play nine holes of golf in the sea breeze.  The local forestry company provides information on their campground at Mosquito Lake (a popular swimming and fishing spot).  Pallant Creek flows out of the lake and joins the ocean about 5km downstream with an estuary at Moresby Camp.  There is a chum salmon hatchery on Pallant Creek.  Visitors are welcome throughout the year.

Or drive the circle from Copper Bay around to Alliford Bay and back along to Sandspit.

Canadian Airlines International has jet service from Vancouver to Sandspit.  Car rentals are also available.
