Taylor

Taylor is located at Mile 36 where the Alaska Highway crosses the beautiful Peace River.  Taylor can be found in the scenic valley nestled beside the Peace River.

This is a great place to be if you enjoy a wide variety of recreational opportunities.  While you are in Taylor don't miss digging for petrified clams and other dinosaur fossils along the banks of the Peace River.

If you are looking for a good time participate in the World Invitational Gold Panning Championships.  While you are there you can take part in the prospector's games, claim staking contests and bannock baking.

Be sure to stop in Taylor while taking the Alaska Highway, it will be a stop you won't want to miss!
