Climate

Encompassing 53% of the province, the climate varies considerably in Northern British Columbia. Late spring and early fall usually offer mild weather conditions with average highs of 15 degrees Celsius.  Summer boasts temperatures ranging from a comfortable 20 to a balmy 33 degrees Celsius.

Summer days are longer, the further you travel north. Evenings in Northern British Columbia seem to last forerver, and are perfectly matched with a glass of wine and a patio chair beside one of the many lakes and rivers in the area.

Winter coastal conditions often bring rain with the mild weather.  Most northern destinations across the Interior are covered in incredible snow from the middle of November until the middle of March.  Lows vary depending where you are, but average about -10 degrees Celsius.
