A Breathtaking Route
The Skeena is a 1,160 km two-day light land cruise through Yellowhead Pass, across British Columbia’s interior plateau and down the Skeena River valley to the Pacific Coast, offering views of stunning and varied landscapes that simply cannot be seen any other way:
Year Round Departures
The Skeena departs three times weekly from either the Rocky Mountain resort town of Jasper, where it connects with the Canadian, or Prince Rupert on the north Pacific Coast. During the peak period from mid-May to the end of September the train departs four times weekly.
Eastbound or westbound the train stops for the night in Prince George. (Overnight accommodation and transfers are not included in train fare.)
Classes of Service
Comfort class - is the economical way to take in the sights from large picture windows in the comfort of roomy seats with headrests.
Totem class - available during the peak period only, includes all meals and exclusive access to the Park car. You’ll enjoy delicious regional cuisine at your seat, 360 degree views from the Park car’s scenic dome and engaging company in the Mural and Bullet lounges.
